Bought the Toshiba Mini NB305-N410BN Netbook and it is just what I expected — a great little computer that allows me to do wordprocessing anywhere, log onto the internet, and emailing. I have the brown–great color–and find it a very user-friendly machine. I was tired of being tethered to the desk-top we have at home and now I’m enjoying my early morning coffee in the kitchen with my cool brown netbook telling me today’s news and allowing me to read and respond to emails. Love just inserting my SD camera card into the computer to look at pictures, too.

I purchased this item over a month again, and so far it has worked extremely well. It was easy to set up and get started. My only warning would be to ask how it is being shipped to ensure you will be available to receive it, especially when it is shipped so quickly and efficiently.

Toshiba has horrible warranty service – Eric –
Toshiba warranty support is absolutely horrible. My laptop had a factory defect and had to be sent in for repair. After more than 3 weeks and they keep telling me to call back for a basic part. I have wasted several hours on this problem and am told that they will not have a part for another two months. They also refuse to escalate problems to a supervisor or manager providing me not option but to threaten legal action to just get my laptop fixed or to get a replacement. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING PURCHASING TOSHIBA LAPTOPS!

I love this computer for all the reasons that people have mentioned before. The only problems I have with it are:
1. The finish does show every smudge and finger print.
2. Only two USB port and Inconviently placed on the right side.
3. The speakers are laughably horrible.

Everything else about this computer is right on. Easy to set up. Love windows 7. Great price. I3 processor is fast. Great mid range laptop.

Don’t count on that warranty – Lori S. –
Power jack broke off inside the case after only six months of normal use, and Toshiba refuses to fix it under warranty. After this happened to us, I searched online and discovered this is a common complaint. Toshiba used to repair this defect under warranty but stopped.

I guess they’ll have to be hit with another class action lawsuit like the one over the defective plastic hinges before they’ll honor their warranty on this defect, too.

I don’t expect a laptop to last forever, but six months? Please.

Generally speaking this laptop offers great quality in all the features you can think a regular laptop would offer Great conectivity to internet,great screen resolution nothing to complain about HOWEVER THE BIG PROBLEM OF THIS COMPUTER IS THE SOUND ON THE SPEAKERS …IT IS VERY LOW…..I compare the sound on the speakers in my laptop with my wife’s which is a DELL Laptop and hers clearly sounds way better.

I called Toshiba customer service and they said that is the highest volume that the speakers have CRAZY HUH? they said they do not have any sort of update to improve the speakers performance ….the only way to fix that would be by sending my laptop to their repair center…NO WAY …I am currently living in Costa Rica and I will not send this computer back it would take forever to receive it again with the same issue NO WORTH AT ALL.

Never getting another product from Toshiba – Jordan –
Bying this laptop from toshiba has been a great mistake. The numbers of problems that I encaunted with product were ridiculous. I’m going back to sony or HP and sticking to them.
